Left In the Cold

It seems like everyone's moving on...
and left me behind.
Like everyone's paired
or has a trio
I have no one that's ALWAYS there
but I guess that's just life.
Even if you say you are
you're not
Going day by day
feeling trapped where you are
Letting everything out by actions
because you can't make words
Still feeling like you don't belong
Just when you're getting a lot better
You're brought right back down again
still drowning
But this time it's freezing over
Soon again you'll find there's no way out
waiting for the sun to break through
The acid rain's still here
it hasn't been dried up
It's even harder holding it back
having it turn to anger
