Why did you leave me
Why don't you care
Even as your daughter
I'm still your heir
I long for your love
But there was none
When I said who I am
Our relationship was done
Every holiday
Every year
I miss your face
I miss your cheer
So I cry and cry
And wonder why
But there's no closure
Only memories of lies
