Left Behind

Her life is all about the things he left behind
She sees the world from the window of a roadside bar.
She tells the bartender she can still taste his kisses.
She says when we've lived and kissed and learned to love it's easy to lose direction.
She says sometimes we can't see beyond the warning signs.
She says I'm a prisoner, I'm chained.
She says it would have taken only one illusion to have a happy ending.
