Lee Dodgeson Rip

R.I.P Lee Alan Dodgson

29 Feb 1976 - 12 Sept 2016

Another sad day has come to light
One of our mates has lost his fight
It's hard to say goodbye to a brother
Even if its from another mother

Lee or dodge known by his mates
I hope it's ok at those pearly gates
Your going to be missed that's for sure
By all who served with you in war

Dodge I know you had a rough ride
And there are others with you on that side
Get to the bar and pull up a pew
Keep looking down on us few

Your family miss you and its not right
From early morning to late at night
I for one am deeply upset
For the loss of a great guy I had once met

A legend when working on the 43s
A real worker easy to please
Pleasure to have served with thee
From the desert rats to the mighty 3

I now know you are at peace
Away from the demons or even the police
There's lots of other things I could say
But they will just get in the way

I great soldier that is true
Many people left feeling blue
Football and family your real passion
Didn't like your sense of fashion

Rest in peace my armoured friend
Until we meet at the clouds end
