Leaving Now

I woke up at 3 to the sound of your voice You sung my name, oh what a joy It gave me goosebumps when you sung it out loud In a fashion so soothing, not boisterous or loud But gentle, cajoling, almost beckoning me To come and be near you where I long to be I love to listen to your voice when you sing It does something to me, and to it I cling To recall it from memory again and again And maybe for real someday...until then
