Leaving It Up To You

You've said I love you
At least a dozen times
But now I need you to prove its true
I never said being with me would be easy
I'm not perfect
I make mistakes
And I know I've messed up royally
But I'm trying to make my wrongs right
I'm trying to do better
But Rome wasn't built in a day
If only you could give a little credit
Where credit is due
I know I don't always deserve it
But there are times when I do
And I know you've had to put up with a lot
But we will never be able to move forward
If you can't let go of my past
I would scream my every wrong to the world
If I thought you might forgive me then
I'm still here fighting for what I want
So I guess what I'm asking
Is are you gonna see us thru the storm
Or turn and walk away
The choice is yours
I've laid everything I have on the line
I've tried everything I know to try
Cried every tear there was to cry
Now it's up to you
So again I ask
Where do we go from here?
