LEAVING ALONE

I hear the faint rhythm
Of the familiar dream
Beating the song
My feet danced to

My lips yield
To the words
That brought life
To the surface of reality

My heart
My...grieving...joyful heart
Filled and emptied
With old and unknown
....fighting it out

The earth I knew
The one in which I grew
Is gone...I, well, I am moving on
Living in possibility

...for eternity
