Leaving

Leaving

slowly
imperceptibly
at first
a syllable
a vowel
a verb
slips away.

unnoticed
in the flush
of discovery

each submission
says goodbye

already you are gone.

Thank you for reading and commenting. It seems to me that the seeds of leaving begin to grerminate in the heat of meeting.
