Leaves

Leaves Fall Everyday
But know one seems to notice.
Maybe leaves have been forgotten.
Since they are so common.
Leaves are just like people.
They change everyday.
Not just there color but even there shape.
But somehow they loose there purpose.
A little at a time.
Just like people loose there minds.
Soon leaves get forgotten.
They crumble up as we pass on by.
Just like some people who crumble before our eyes.

An astute comparison, Briennah! What a clever thought to think of the human masses as falling leaves...Quite brilliant - A seven! My best regards. :) john

Well I have never looked at live thinking of leaves. However I don't believe I will ever walk by, rake, or burn another leaf without thinking of my life, because your poem has brought the two together in a way that is so true. Well done. Thank you.
