Leaves
Translucent tender leaves in light pink
Clinging on to branches of a tree
Like a baby clings on to its mothers breast tenderly
Extending forward into the morning light naturally
Like silken weaves with a shimmer
Telling secrets to the wind, a glimmer
The sunlight feeds their living souls
Leaves moving in the wind fold
I sit and watch the leaves turn bright
A soothing colour calms my sight
Air woven like children of light in-between
Every line on a leaf like a flowing stream
As leaves rustle with hustle and bustle
How beautifully leaves grow strong and green
A whisper now heard in an interchange of love
The leaves and the light move as one above
