Leave It Alone

Its beauty took millions of years Every leaf and every drop of water Placed in its perfect spot year after year Even with its history, the beauty is fragile It would not take much to destroy Just one man with too much money Wanting to make his mark on the world Houses or large office buildings Anything that would have his name The rest of us must do something to stop him Beauty like that scene must be saved Treasured for what they are Not for what they can be © Poem – XXVIII/V/MMXXV LRET
