Leave a Note

This is not a goodbye night note just a sappy farewell letter
Only I know what I had truly been through though it hurts to say

When you realize that this was left for you, whoever you may be
How I wish you could have left my head and let me have my own mind
Only I know what I was through even if I have no memory

I know you would not understand, which is why I must leave
The voices in my head are nothing more the the taunting memories

Many were out to torment others, and not many chose to protect me
And though you may not quite grasp, without your help i cannot last
Years will go on and on, soon you shall forget me

Can you find a way alone, I tried to but i couldn't
Only one voice will remain as I make a final leap
No longer will I struggle to be awake for i was scared to sleep
Could you find it in your heart to try to forgive me
Even though it may be hard, find it in your mind to forget me
Really wish the world were less cold, and as warming as your soul
Now as I take my final breath I only think of you
