Learning To Laugh At Myself
i look at you
just another crude
sense of humor at another's expense
well my price is much too high
those dollar signs in your eye
reflect
another bitter embodiment
reckless with no sentiment
i look at you your misery
a non-stop flow since infancy
you say you're kidding but
seriously you're a joke to me
your words cut deep
they're not as deep as me
so i keep on keepin on
easily
you hate me for my
peace of mind
i still keep on rollin on
right beside
the wheels of the truck you ride
an eye for an eye
leaves us all
poked out and blind
and i don't mind
living life with one eye
