Learning the Language of Dolphins
Creatures full of grace and charm.
I've loved them many years.
Feeling excitement not alarm.
Really I have no fears.
Into the tepid water I go.
The trainer is my guide.
Dolphins are swimming to and fro.
They glide right to my side.
Ready to rendezvous they are.
So we began to swim.
Wishing we could but we can't go far.
As the sunlight starts to dim.
I scratched this off my bucket list.
It's something I'll never forget.
Floating with them through the mist.
So vivid to me yet!
