Leaky Faucet

I need to shut up
My mouth flows like a leaky faucet

Drip, drip, drip

I don't remember losing this much water
But there it lays
Filling three buckets in front of me

Drip, drip, drip

And I don't mean I'll shut off the water

Drip, drip, drip

But sometimes the leaky faucet
Drowns out the noise of the clock ticking
Or the birds singing
Hell, I haven't heard the wind brushing the trees in a while

Drip, drip, drip

It gets annoying
And sometimes I like to hear other noises

Instead of the faucet that can't seem to be quiet
