Leaking Eyes

Drip….
Drip….
Drip….
No, it isn’t a leaking sink,
It’s actually leaking eyes.
My tears fall,
Because of you.
Drip….
Drip….
Drip….
You broke my heart,
Causing water to slide down my cheeks.
That hasn’t happened in years.
Drip….
Drip….
Drip….
No one seems able to cheer,
My usual smiling face up.
It only reminds me,
Of you…
Drip….
Drip….
Drip….
My wounds won’t seem to heal.
It only causes my skin to peel deeper.
And burns when those tears fall.
Drip….
Drip…..
Drip……..
