Leaf's Dance

Leaf's dance as the night's breeze begins to cool the air. Stumble towards a sudden warmth, wondering was it you I saw standing there. Echo's from a distant train jar my attention as it runs down it's lonely tracks. The loneliness that follows me and has always been there behind my back. Peering stars also follow me, and are watching my every move. Aware of chatter from a nearby stream and the smile from a fingernail moon. The places that I've been, so many things that I've seen. My thoughts sometime scramble, as my mind let's out it's silent scream. Where's the voice that calms me down, and begins to ease the pain. Like the soothing waters that fall from a warm summers rain. My hands begin searching, reaching for a certain touch. Looking for the piece of a puzzle I know I've missed so much. Leaf's dance as the nights breeze begins to cool the air. Stumble towards sudden warmth, wondering was it you I saw standing there.
