Leaf In the Wind

I am a leaf in the wind that passes you by,
I fly, without so much as a glance from your eye,
In the background of city lights, family , and friends,
In the end, I am not but a leaf in the wind.
I have no direction to which I am bound
And no honest connection to keep me on the ground,
No one knows how I've loved, how I've lost, how I've sinned,
Because no one can know of a leaf in the wind.
In a thunderstorm, I will be thrown all about
And in doubt about whether I might make it out,
If I shout, to the clouds my voice will be pinned,
Because what is the voice of a leaf in the wind?

-(A piece not mine.)

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
