Leaf Covered Path

I see her walking down a path covered by leaves, and her body moves like a tease/ Lonely, mysterious, and lost from a distant... but near past which brings her to her knees/ She looks into a puddle, a puddle in the snow that lyes beneath those leafs and sees/ A reflection of self and realizes the harm fallen upon her... and screams/ She screams and screams for help. I remember that same position/ I remember the pain and guilt she must have and now feel/ Like a tree growing in a barren-land, it grows unhealthy... Depleted of water and the bark peels/ I walk to her and wrap my arms around her to warm and comfort her/ She flinches and pushes me away... and denys help, as well as her own being/ I make promise to her. That promise to help her in this time she truly is needing/ She suddenly grabs me and pulls me towards a door in the middle of nowhere/ Where does it lead? Should I go along? Am I prepared?/ These questions I ask and then I figure/ Love is unpredictable... and my questions cannot yet be answered/
