Leaf

Leaf falls swinging in the air
Lifeless and mindless and go where ever
Only to crush and can’t be link
To the shoot that bears
Once slip and gone forever
Leaf that floats on air
As if to stretch the gap
Between heaven and earth
But can’t resist the greater force
That calls from the soil
All leaf shall share the same fate
As if to ornament the earth
Of never ending foliage
But just above the tip of the twig
Covered with dew is a new green sheet
