The Whiskey Taster’s Flavor Guide

Lead foot

Stepped away for awhile, but rising again from the ashes
Sometimes you need to dive into the dumpster to sort through life's trash

The smoke is starting to settle as coming out the other side
Efforted some along the way but mostly just went along for the ride

The detour felt different this time as I went in with a different point of view
Rooted in resilience that no matter what I'd make it through

Sure to be more roadblocks and obstacles ahead
But running my engine at full throttle with a foot full of lead
