Lazy Days

Bees buzzin, caterpillar crawlin
Layin in the shade

Sun shinin, babies bawlin
Listnin to the hit parade

Think I’ll get that plowin done
Need to rise and get it done.
Need to rise...

Honey suckle smellin, pine needle fallin
Feelin old before my time.

Frogs jumpin, birds callin
Livin plain to the sublime

Think I’ll get that plowin done
Need to rise and get it done
Need to rise...

Reading your FUN poetry, like this one, Charles, has been a wonderful way to start my day. I enjoyed it...I can feel the mood! Thank you for sharing your words. And thank you for your recent comments on my poetry as well. Enjoy your day...get up and catch that frog...Okay plowing might be more responsible. But who can rise and work when intoxicated by nature's beautiful fragrances...honeysucle. Smiles, Dane Ann
