Lay’s

The contents long consumed, discarded;
the packet stirred in the gentle breeze
before rising, dancing, escaping;
an ersatz yellow-red autumn leaf;
wind chaser that will live forever.

There is something to be said for biodegradable material. I wonder if your packet will ever rival nature's Autumn leaves in splendor. It will probably last longer but the sun will probably fade its bright color. See now you have got me thinking about an empty packet! Your poems have a magnet force. I enjoyed.
