Layla Is the Ultimate Party Pooper

Layla suffered from Cotards Delusion.
No one could convince her that she was not deceased.
She lay in her bed, prone and stiff for hours.
Believing herself a corpse.
We all tried to wake her or disturb her.
But Layla was fully into her dead role.
I am dead, she thought.
Determined to be.
Layla refused to talk or move.
She would not eat or drink.
In a few hours we left.
Tired of trying to coax and cajole the ultimate party pooper.
