Lay Under a Tree

In a meadow, not far from home, You will see Nature give it her best. You’ll walk thru the flowers, breathe the clean air, Lay under a tree, and think, As shadows touch your face. Your weary mind needs time to slow. A respite from the daily grind; To clear away the pain and doubt. Energize the body, the mind. As the clouds move on… Now refreshed, you will return To your home once more. Having felt Nature’s sweet breath As you laid under Her tree.
