Lay Down Your Arrows.....

Pretty Shiela

lay down your arrows

your thumbs are greener

your tulips your fushia

you look pale

lay down your arrows

your golden sheild

i'm wondering

i'm listless

i'm searching

and i imagined what it would be like

that forbidden kiss

like blood

do i want it

because it's forbidden

and what if it's the wrong moment

like a coffee stain

and someone is watching

it feels like claws?

Shiela

lay down your arrows

it's OK

tonight

lay down

the Quilts are made of hay

and the ponies are hiding

there are no weapons

just many arrows

listless and wandering

and looking for lost blood

stolen

and do i want this

because it's forbidden

like an angel wrapped around a cigar

do i need this

because i can't have it

do i need this

envious memory

like pale Snow White

and her porcelin skin

like a second chance

for a 7 year old

a baby life

Shela

there's no more wars between your veins

just the midnight sun

waiting to be born

and do i need blood
because

it's forbidden words

like an angel wrapped around a cigar.......
