Notes About The Poem

The series "theme sound" has been agreed upon--"Doink--doink." Before this

became the official sound, which is heard at the beginning of each episode, some

described it as "Dun-dun."

Law and Order

Listen! Do you hear that "Doink--doink"--
		An alluring sound. Now I'll be
		Watching Law and Order to hear
		Alibis from suspects and see
		Nervous clients, eager lawyers
		DA's, and defendant haters,
		Ostentations in the courtroom,
		Rival lawyers, rapt spectators.
	        "Doink--doink" ("Dun--dun")--all we fans know,
		Ever will announce a great show,
		Reruns air in nonstop, smooth flow!
