Lavender Love

LAVENDER LOVE I want to turn myself inside out To end any doubt I want to rip my body apart So you can see my heart I want you to view what beats only for you Sustaining me as the silkiness of a silky love grew Enchantment eloquently electrified us two As one could see the sparks of red and blue It was a night to be stored in the good Lord’s file For when a child or the elderly require a smile Then God consults you on what kind of a grin “the kind of joy as we watch the merry-go-round spin” Just snapshots like that, photographs on a wall You, who gave me your most treasured and all You taught me with embraces of lavender and what love is all about But to prove the worthiness of my heart I will turn myself inside out © 2011.….Phreepoetree
