Lavender Lady

If I was a dandelion
You’d blow me away
To the land of Zion
Where love is faith

We would be a bible story
Of purple passion God’s grace
Enlightened by green glory
Morality in tact and silver safe

You’d be revered red royalty
I’d be blessed and tickled pink
To be in your lifetime you king or queen
Would have humble heart of peasantry

If I was a happy song
I’d be all about you
Birds would sing along
For your love is the truth

I’d take mini vacations
In my mind and you’d know
My great indigo infatuation
In time could grow us close

I must be a lavender lady
Though I’d rather be lady bug
To fly to you half crazy
Doting on you in love

Oh the way I would flutter
My wings and dream of you
If I could talk and not stutter
I’d confess I’m a mess for you
