Lavender

Streams of colour
In constant motion
showing shades of beauty hidden
Powered by the wind
As it caresses the river of scent
Gently, softly, lovingly
And moves through the rows
Never stopping, always moving
Following the wind
Lavender tributaries
in a Sensual scented sea of colour
Never ending.

Hello Roger Turner, nice to meet you. Your poem is beautifully written. I love lavender. I use it to make myself sleep. I once sampled a a small glass of lavender water. I was surpried to find I liked it. Have a nice evening my friend.

so glad you enjoyed it. Look up the photo "Lavender" by William Carr, a photographer from Las Vegas. That was the basis of my poem
