Laurel Canyon

Laurel Canyon

Zappa....
A part of the history of the sixties hippie movement
 The vibe was hip
sunset strip was where you went to parade

The Whiskey A Go Go was the elevated hippie sub culture place,
 Strange insane dancing
A new change was starting to take place...The Beatles,
 Buffalo Springfield & The Byrds...

young groupies would hitch hike to get there
The reflective social scene that definitely happened.
Starting with The Beatles & Bob Dylan
Everyone wanted to do the best that they could

through the music with sex, drugs & rock and roll
In L.A. love was all the rage....
People demonstrating with woman burning their bras
Going to Canada to escape the draft....

 faces, eyes & feet
Love was in the air & everywhere
An avalanche of kids coming to a love in on sunset strip
 Hanging in coffee shops,

500 kids with arms on the wall be frisked as hippies
 Steven Stills,.for what it's worth.....
 Hippies pout politicians cheer
The Jim Morrison Love Street Pad
