Laura's Beautiful Eyes

Chorus: Laura's beautiful eyes have the color of the evening sea... when deep is the silence and loud is our breath: lady beauty, please ask me to dance, I'll be your Macbeth! Verse I What strikes me about Laura's beautiful eyes is their honesty... nobody charms me more, this sea reflects her beauty. Laura's beautiful eyes have disappeared to become another memory. Verse II Laura, Venus of my sensations, I'm bound for temptations... I'll hold you forever in this warm embrace and kiss you with my eager lips, make you taste happiness: all that time won't erase. Verse III Spring is lovely, larks sing new songs as we hold hands walking along a path of roses: everybody wants to be in love like us; and this passion burning, burning inside is alive and it gives us hope to survive. Verse IV Laura beautiful eyes sparkle more than stars and that moon in disguise; she'll come closer, making the strongest man weak with lips that offer the sweetness of a true woman... oh, isn't she the one I desperately seek? Ending: Who doesn't dream of Laura's beautiful eyes that tantalize? Edited on 3/29/2017

Greetings, Jan. It's nice to hear from you again. I have been away from Poetry Soup for a while, just dropping by to post a poem or two. I have dedicated most of my time to writing music to some of my poems. I am back to read your beautiful poems again. I wish you happiness and health and I hope that the weather is getting a bit warmer. I know you have harsh winters, but I love mountains covered with snow. Enjoy your day and write more inspiring poetry. Hugs, Andrew.
