Laundry

My muse.
That which I cannot deny
The very thought
establishes a connection
between need
and hunger for.
One word. One thought
provoking word
and I'm down
that rabbit's hole
going where
God only knows
always ending
at the same beginning.
The written word
Has a spin cycle effect
Emotions wash over me
I go from dirty to clean
to thinking
"I don't rightly know"
but it must be good.
I can't get enough of this
dirty laundry.
Hang me in the spring breeze
and let the wind
carry me where only
words can take me.
Wash me.
