Laughter's Best Medicine

Laughter's Best Medicine

thoughts that spring up out of hope
when you have a fight with the soap on a rope
can't even think to dismiss this earthly bliss
when there's a dozen of pots in your sink
yet deep down within your soul
there's some things you ought to know
watch on as the green grass grows
 whispers in the corridor alone
 spaces, traces & faces

silence has etched its beckoning call asunder
filter through a duration of the sun with lots of fun
 a new day has begun
we can't let go the way that we feel
a love embrace will seal the deal
all of life being a great spinning wheel
got to think hard to what is real
silver dollars thrown into a fountain
our souls may be stricken with grief
now is a good enough times as any to turn over a new leaf
coming down from your commander and chief
