Laughter and Cheer
I wonder what these strangers are speaking of
I don't want to get into their business, so I resume with my business
I wonder if I'll ever find a trustworthy friend or someone I could trust
I don't want to end up a loner all of my life!
Who am I trying to impress?
It's too embarrassing to address
Is there any way to swim out of the silence
That has embraced me in its presence
I wonder... I wonder
Who's chattering behind me
Every second of my life, I wonder...
Will I find a friend to burn away my fears
And replace them with laughter and cheers?
