Laughter

Their failure to convert me.

Makes me laugh.

In the middle of the night, in the bathroom.

While everyone else is crying and screaming.

I was tired of being taunted.

In this place were humans left-

Without the ability to speak.

Sent back into a world-

Where dawn is silent.

So neighbors will not complain.
