Latin

old-fashioned reels
spin
       fascination
talkies buried

“did jimmy have some beer?”

and the oldest fighting
the baby
who whines real
often

a radio performance
of Twelve Days Of Christmas
the recorder squeaking
“five golden rings”*
eight times
                   every time
out of tune

                                a dead language
                               how little Latin i know
