Later - On - We Dance

Yes, later on
   we will dance
                    and perhaps
see stars overhead
Does it matter
That we sing here on earth?
I think it does!
Yes, and the lights from over the bridge
     are shining
as they have been shining for the past one hundred years
If we can "catch the Wind" as Donovan put it
we will feel safe
and not sorry
Ready to deal with
Whatever the future has in store for us

Much to think about here--I've already read it twice. I like the uplifting way this poem is presented. Keep dancing and writing! Thank you for your kind words on my poem. Have a good day. Karen

Must agree with Stacey. It is a wonderful line to 'catch the wind'. Your poetry is a beautiful song/dance of your life philosophy. Never disappoints. Love, Shar
