Late Evening In the City
Later - the city
speaks to us
the asphalt homeland
Let's us know where we
stand
On the highway
Autos whizz by
Take a deep breathe
of the night air
Doesn't appear that the city
will let you go
Urban magic
works its way
inside you
Lets touch the sky
Where stars are just beginning
to reveal themselves
Over our heads
the half moon
Shines down on the
multitude
All of your questions
will be answered
if you look deeply enough
Into the heart of the metropolis
