Last Time

I visited you yesterday
There where I buried you so long ago
Thought you were gone forever
Thought I was free

I look around and see you there
Returning this familiar pain
these scars that never healed
Blood streams down my cheeks
As I hold on to this pain

When all you have is darkness
All you need is pain

I left a penny on your stone
A penance for my sins
A piece of my soul
I give to you

All I have all I will ever be
One more kiss
One more time
Just to walk through the light again

Strange we never see when it's the last time
