Last Road Before Home

When I come to the end of my road
is there another way to follow?
Will it be visible and without remorse
if I go down a path of hollow?

Will wisdom be there with me?
Or has it been erased or kept?
If I remain in an endless dream
will I know that I had slept?

Will the road be smooth or rough?
should I be in fear or let my faith guide
in my journey I shall fear not
a righteous life I’ve led with pride

the road seems to have narrowed
the steps to the chamber doors are perceived
in moments I shall be within my home
blessed with gifts I shall have received
