Last of Days

By Kevin Robey

No more mistakes to make
No graces we mistake
Our fate held in our hands
What's left to understand?

When you close your eyes
And filter our their lies
Can you still find a place
Safe havens for this face

Cmon Lace up your shoes
I want to filter you
So Let's go find the truth
It lies in me and you

I know the past is scarred
But we are brighter stars
We burn between the seams
Of reimagined dreams

The mobs may track us down
When we get out this town
But we will live a single day
That they could never take away
