Last Night

Last Night Last night I lost another poem, dreaming carelessly. A metaphor that spoke of lore, dissolved in mystery. New beginnings for a wandering thru forgotten, lifeless dreams, Where trails are made of memories and passion flows in streams. Verbs and nouns in satin gowns, their beauty gone with morning light. My pen is silent and untested, my paper, still plain and white. Last night I lost a piece of me, staring aimlessly, Looking into darkness, and seeing what will be.
