Last Man Standing

There was an explosion
dust clouds covered everything
I feel the end is near
as I look around
I see nothing but piles of rubble
how can I survive with no others
I must find survivors
where do i go from here
I will search the streets
for food and water
cars and trucks are flipped over
fires are burning everywhere
bridges are destroyed
no coming or leaving the city
From where I stand
I see the same thing from a distant
Is this end of the world
parks are now holes
what happened here
what will happen to me
no more stores and places to eat
no more schools and malls
I knew this day would come
but no one believed me
am I the last man standing
