Last Kiss

Last Kiss I asked you twice, I’ll not ask thee thrice, the twice I asked was to see if question was heard, they’ll be not be thrice as I know by that silent answer. Actions speak louder than words and yours say more than empty promises could ever do, I’m not desperate and no body’s fool, I’ll not play by the school yard rule. Tis time I stood back and let you go your way, if it was meant for me, to ask no need would there be. Like a stream flow’s to a river and the river to the sea, I know when my time has come, by my side one will be, holding my hand till my last breath has passed, kiss me that last time and wish me sweet good night.
