Last Hope
When all my hopes drained away
When my shattered fate show no way
When the dew drops of my wishes dried away
When my evergreen happiness turned to hay
Nowhere to go, I was stuck,
Thinking about my miserable luck
My life which seemed like a scary book
My future gave me a horrified look;
Like a rainbow after rain,
I never knew I had something to gain,
Then came something I should never miss
The one who took me to happiness and bliss.
The one who came and lighted my path
The one who made my life easy like a kid’s math,
The one who I can say, indeed,
“ A friend in need is a friend indeed”
