Last Dance

Looking at you from across the room knowing this was last time I was going to see you. Our favorite song "Dilemma" by Nelly blasting through the loud speakers. You wouldn't even look at me. The gym's dark grey walls decorated like a Las Vegas casino it looked like a gold glitter monster threw up. You in your suit looking like the polished politician that you dreamt of becoming. Me in my homemade dress of course I would be wearing one of my own designs. When we first met I literally couldn't stand you. I thought You were a brat and I'm pretty sure you thought I was a brat too. You finally looked up at me; You walked slowly to me hooked your pinkie around mine. You walked me to the middle of the dance floor just then "Don't Change" by Musiq. I didn't want the song to end especially after you told me you asked the DJ to play it. "This will be the last song of the night," said the DJ. Tha song ended and you kissed me on my forehead turned and walked away leaving me there. Last song of the night! Last dance of the year! Last time I will ever see you!
