Bone chilled, numb fingers
fight to clench the precipice
in frigid, thin air
against the restless mountains
he releases his burdens.

as with many of the others, the numerical placement belies how good this really is; it's chilling in every sense, unsettling, and very well written - congrats on your well deserved win in my contest
