Last Call
Last call, it's closin' time, my friend -
I guess this heart may never mend
Once more I'll let my elbow bend
Before I face that cold north wind
Last call, it's your last time to blend
I'm at home in this bar you tend
Thanks for the ear you always lend
Hope I said nothin' to offend
She said my graveside she'd attend
But not a teardrop would she spend
My obituary's been penned
And she'll be glad to see my end
So it's this bar that I commend
The service here I recommend
And for the future I contend
Someday my ways I may amend
