Lashing Out

Lashing out in a huff gives hug
'Til deep within a scar he dug

Life with a angry~happy man
A fake smile saying life is grand

While in the kitchen the wife cooks
Getting by with hook or crook

As she pours sweet Pine~Sol too
Smell the savory scent of stew

Holding a hot coal to calm nerves
Anger dispersed throughout swerve

Acidic antidote poured out
Ruined the vessel's long strong spout

Living with angry~happy man
From outside life looked all time grand
